The RTI Cell, Govt. Polytechnic College Samba is headed by the Public Information Officer (PIO), who ensures timely reply of all the applications under Right to Information Act, 2005 (online and offline), which are received in the RTI Cell. The RTI Cell ensures timely reply to the RTI applicants and appeals in a time bound manner. The PIO also attends all the hearings in the State Information Commission (SIC) as and when filed by the appellants.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Timely disposal of all RTI matters.
• Effective Monitoring/Tracking of RTI matters within the organization.
• Proper coordination with CIC and other organizations in matters related to RTI.
